Andrew Koeman Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Family Law

Mincher Koeman would like to congratulate one of its founding partners, Andrew Koeman, for being named to the 2024 The Best Lawyers in Canada list for Family Law. 

During his articles with Alberta Justice and his time as a Crown Prosecutor in the Specialized Prosecutions Branch, Andrew gained extensive experience working on complex economic crimes. He then began exclusively practicing family law and specifically focused on complex and high-net-worth property division matters. He is able to help clients trace and value assets in order to bring clarity to the complicated property and financial disputes that can arise at the end of a relationship. Andrew also helps clients resolve complex child and spousal support matters when income is derived from privately held corporations or sources outside typical employment. 

Andrew is particularly interested in appellate work and provides clients with cost-effective options concerning appeals. He has argued cases before various levels of court in Alberta and, in order to promote cost-effective and amicable resolutions, he also represents clients in alternative dispute resolution methods, including arbitration.
