Graduating magna cum laude from UC Berkeley, earned me a full academic scholarship to UCLA School of Law, where I chaired the Asian Student Alliance Recruitment program and served as Comments Editor for the Pacific Basin Law Journal.

After graduating from UCLA School of Law, my family plans took me to Calgary, Alberta where I earned my National Accreditation in 2002 and articled at a national business law firm in 2004.

I took some time off after being called to the Alberta Bar in 2006 to be with my family ( I have two amazing sons). As a divorcee and co-parent, I am keenly aware of how devastating the separation/divorce process can be. Thus, I approach each client with respect and compassion.

I also know that with good counsel and strong advocacy, clients can achieve fair resolutions to their unique issues, establish healthy co-parenting relationships in the best interest of the children and carve new paths forward.

I am a no-nonsense litigator with considerable experience in all levels of the Alberta Courts and alternative dispute processes including mediation/arbitration. The majority of my practice is in high conflict parenting, child welfare and emergency protection applications/review.

I strive to listen and truly understand the objectives of both sides in a divorce process in order to equip my client with the knowledge and strategy to achieve their objectives.
