Karl Majaesic

Biography

Karl Majaesic is a Student-at-Law. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Entrepreneurship and earned his Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia, graduating with distinction and ranking first in his class in Family Law.

Before pursuing law, Karl built an accomplished career in business and aviation, holding progressive leadership roles with two Canadian airlines and as an entrepreneur.

Karl began his career at a prominent charter airline as a ramp agent, gaining hands-on operational experience before advancing to Airports Manager, where he oversaw the airline’s operations at six regional airports across Western Canada. In that role, he negotiated third-party handling and customer service contracts, developed and delivered training programs, audited airport operations, created budgets, and supported staff recruitment and development. As Manager of Business Development, Karl played a key role in diversifying the company’s revenue streams and negotiating Fly-In-Fly-Out programs with major oil and gas clients. He also established and maintained partnerships with Indigenous nations, assisting in the creation of joint ventures that supported Indigenous participation and operational control in aviation projects. While working at one of Canada’s largest airlines, Karl managed large operational teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining strong relationships with airport authorities and stakeholders.

In addition to his aviation career, Karl founded and grew his own business, expanding it from two employees to thirty across two locations in just three years, generating seven-figure annual revenue.

Driven by a desire to make a more personal and meaningful impact, Karl discovered that the practice of law offered the opportunity to help people in ways his previous career could not. During law school, he gained valuable experience working at a commercial firm, where he developed a strong foundation in financial law, employment law, trusts, and corporate law. Karl has a particular interest in Family Law and is passionate about supporting clients through complex personal and legal matters with empathy, focus, and clarity.

Outside of law, Karl still loves to fly, is an avid woodworker and fitness enthusiast who values time with his family.
