WILLIAM A. MUSANI, Calgary Family Law and Divorce Lawyer

Prior to being called to the Alberta Bar, I maintained a successful career as a senior executive in various technology-based businesses. I started my legal career specializing in the practice areas of tax, M&A, corporate/commercial, and securities at top tier regional law firms and focused on working with mid-to-large private corporations in high conflict matters. Having handled a wide range of complex corporate and tax-motivated transactions in the family law context, I joined Mincher Koeman to focus exclusively on the practice of family law.

My prior tax and corporate experience affords me a unique perspective in the practice of family law, particularly in the context of family property division, spousal support, and child support matters and the negotiation and drafting of various agreements.

As a passionate advocate and seasoned negotiator, I also handle:

• high-conflict divorces and separations;
• parenting, including high conflict situations;
• child and spousal support;
• family property division;
• the negotiation and drafting of separation, prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements; and
• emergency protection orders and restraining orders.

Outside of the practice of law, I enjoy working on cars, collecting watches, and raising a rebellious Bernedoodle.
