I am dedicated to helping families find the best and most effective resolution for any family law obstacle they may be facing.
I joined Mincher Koeman in early 2019 and practice exclusively in family law and Aboriginal law.
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Victoria with a major in Sociology, Social Justice and First Nations Women’s Issues. I received my Bachelor of Laws in 2015 at Cardiff University in Cardiff, Wales where I achieved an honours designation.
I completed my articles at an established family law firm in Calgary and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2017. I have appeared successfully at the Alberta Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench and have extensive litigation experience as junior counsel in complex child custody, mobility, matrimonial property, spousal support and divorce trials.
While completing law school, I volunteered with the Cerebra Legal Entitlement Research Project providing pro bono legal services to families with children with disabilities by challenging administrative decisions regarding the denial of care, health and educational resources by local councils. I was also awarded the Cardiff Law School Academic Merit Scholarship for International Students two years in a row.
I enjoy spending time hiking and skiing in the mountains and travelling the world.
