My background enables me to practise with empathy and compassion while creating lasting solutions for clients.

Kojo brings a wide variety of legal experience to our firm. Before joining our team, he worked in a national law firm’s business immigration practice where he assisted Fortune 500 and other international corporations in facilitating the cross-border movement of their employees. Prior to this, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Presiding Judge of the Civil Division in Middlesex County, New Jersey, where we worked on a wide array of civil litigation disputes. This position also required him to facilitate mediation hearings in civil, landlord/tenant, and small claims cases.

Living on the prairies is something that Kojo has enjoyed throughout his life. He grew up in a small mining community in Saskatchewan, and later moved to the province’s largest city, Saskatoon. He has had a keen interest in politics for as long as he can remember, which led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. Later, he attended Rutgers Law School in New Jersey where he served as the Senior Editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review.

Kojo moved to Calgary in 2019 and loves the quality of life that the city offers, and giving back to the local community is important to him. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors for the Kinsmen Club of Calgary and serves as the chapter’s Vice President.

In his spare time, he enjoys visiting with his family and friends, jogging, and tending to his plants.
